Treat Me Right

It never ceased to amaze Sophia how much her children grew and how intelligent they became. Both the twins were A students and Joel was a fast learner. He mastered walking and the potty surprisingly fast. His talking was a bit slow, though. But Sophia didn't worry. When he was ready to speak, she knew it would be with the most precious voice ever.

While the twins were quite smart, Sophia did have to question their common sense. She was utterly confused as to why Vivian was flirting with a classmate in the nursery, in clear view of Joel. She didn't mind the gender of the person her daughter chose but the location....really, it wasn't the best place. Joel is so impressionable.

When romance wasn't a distraction, the girls worked hard. Even though Vivian had a job with the local dancing troupe, she also acted as the cashier for the home business. Eva, being more of a people person, handle the customers when her mother fell pregnant. The first few customers weren't difficult. After all, they were relatives!

While she was more comfortable behind the cash register, Vivian did try her hand at customers. She handled the short-lived make over station. Before it was removed due to lack of space, she actually had quite a few regulars. Of course, her most frequent was her friend Demi. She never changed anything about her appearance. Sophia began to think that Demi just liked to talk to Vivian and was using the make over as an excuse to come visit.

The stalking worked. Vivian was already attracted to Demi but after the extra bonding, the two found deep feelings in each other. Demi would come home from school with her, do home work with her and even slept over. Then, it became offical. One night after a study session, Vivian asked Demi to be her girlfriend and the two became a couple. Their first act as a couple? Certifying their relationship with a kiss, of course.

Eva tried to get some love in her life too. She messed around with a few boys. Most of them were easily pleased...BORING! Humans need challenges. Eva was no exception. She found wooing the paper boy to be much more difficult. The boy was straight-laced, diligent and prude...PERFECT. Oh, the fun it will be to lure him into the world of no commitment and free love.

Anthony found his own vampirism to be a bit of a problem. While he was up all night, everyone else was sleeping. He had no social stimulation! Oh, he tried to convince his girlfriend and her kids to sit up late and watch movies with him. But they would have none of it. He missed his days of late night partying. He was now doomed to endless games of solitary chess.

Despite having seven children and being relatively used to the pain of child birth, Sophia still cried out in pain when she felt her first contraction. It hurt! She was glad she only had a few more pregnancies to go. Age was quickly catching up with her and soon, her womb would be out of business.

She had to admit. It was strange to look at baby Natasha. She just didn't look like a Hess. True, neither did Vivian but there was just something about Natasha. Still, Sophia adored her. Another baby girl was always lovely. They were so fun to dress up.

With her body back to its gorgeous self, Sophia returned to what she did best. Men were, once again, boring her. So she decided to flirt with one of Sabastian's old friends. She was quite the looker, despite her odd fashion sense. Sophia soon had this flower child in her garden of love...

With mother busy, the girls wasted little time working on scholarships. Vivian was aiming for the arts scholarship her sister Roselle had gotten. She honed her skills with both the easel and violin, perfecting both in little time. She also, of course, was hoping to get a dancing scholarship. But it was hard to practice when her sister was causing such noise outside.

Eva was working on gaining a scholarship for her hard work with mechanical objects. She was hoping to present the college dean with the renovated car. It was coming along nicely, despite Vivian calling it a hunk of junk. Marcus, Eva called him, would be the hottest ride in all of Sparrowhill.

With a new lover to spice up her day, she no longer had much need for a man of the night. Heartlessly, she was about to perform the ultimate act of affection with Anthony stills in his coffin. The man, though deep asleep, heard those familiar sounds and immediately burst through the coffin. Sophia wasn't phased...he simply made it easier for her to plan his demise.
